2 Day Beginner-Advanced Course - £159
Our popular 2 day Beginner-Advanced Course is the business, you will be shooting like a pro by the end of this course. You will learn the correct camera settings for different subjects (goodbye auto), studio and location projects, composition, portraits, critique of your shots and a Photoshop demonstration. 2 Day Pro Portrait Course - £199
Our acclaimed 2 Day Pro Portrait Course moves you up a gear in just 2 days. Studio based, you will be taking professional looking images by the end of this course. We will cover different styles and looks and teach you what works and sells. Learn about different camera settings for studio flash, lighting set-ups and equipment and start taking great professional images. How to set up your own studio and all the equipment needed and how it works. You will get experience of handling an actual studio session with a model and take some great images and probably surprise yourself how easy it can be with our simple method. Learn about the business end including marketing, sales and price structures, plus advanced Photoshop demo to move you to the next level.
This course will take you from an enthusiast or intermediate/advanced level to producing professional quality images that work. Canon EOS 550D Perfect for entry level photography
The Canon EOS 550D is a difficult product to categorize. Ostensibly designed to appeal to first-time DSLR buyers and enthusiasts, it offers a lot more technology, and at a higher price, than we might expect for a camera aimed squarely at this sector. Although it might seem logical for the 550D to replace the EOS 500D, the older camera is set to continue in Canon's lineup, which leaves the 550D pinched between its entry-level (represented by the still-current EOS 1000D and the 500D) and nominally enthusiast (the EOS 50D) peers. Confusingly however, apart from build quality (which is all but identical to the EOS 500D), the 550D has more in common with the prosumer EOS 7D, and - perhaps even more confusingly - it out-specifies the EOS 50D in many areas.
